Start with a Free 15-Minute Call
Not sure if Little Waves Therapy is the right fit? That is completely normal and the consultation call is exactly the right place to start.
During this free 15-minute phone call, you can ask questions, share what you're looking for support with, and get a sense of how Lianne works. There is no obligation, no pressure, and no expectation: just a chance to connect and see if it feels like a good fit.
All information shared is confidential. If therapy is not the right fit at this time, or if a different provider would be more appropriate, Lianne is happy to help with referrals.
Lianne typically responds to inquiries within one to two business days. For urgent support, please contact a crisis line or emergency services.

If you are unsure whether your child, teen, or family would benefit from therapy, the consultation call is a great place to explore that together.
Before You Reach Out
Yes. The initial 15-minute phone consultation is completely free and carries no obligation. It is simply a chance to connect, ask questions, and see if it feels like a good fit.
If your child, teen, or family is struggling with something that is affecting daily life: school, relationships, emotions, behaviour: therapy can help. The consultation is a great place to explore whether now is the right time.
Yes. Virtual therapy is available across Ontario for adolescents ages 13–18, parents, and families. In-person sessions are available in Thornhill for children and teens.
Session fees are discussed during the initial consultation. Little Waves Therapy does not direct-bill insurance, but receipts are provided for reimbursement through extended health benefits.
It depends on the person and what they are working on. Some children and teens benefit from shorter, focused support; others benefit from longer-term work. This is discussed collaboratively throughout therapy.
The consultation call is exactly the right place to find out. There is no pressure to commit, and if Little Waves is not the right fit, Lianne is happy to suggest other resources or referrals.
