Helping Children Navigate Big Feelings and Everyday Challenges
Childhood can come with many big feelings, worries, and challenges. We support children ages 7–12 who may be experiencing anxiety, excessive worry, difficulty managing emotions, low confidence, challenges expressing themselves, friendship concerns, or difficulties with attention and executive functioning.
Children communicate in many ways: not just through words. Therapy is centred around creating a warm, supportive space where children feel safe to be themselves, understood, and valued for who they are. Through play, creativity, and conversation, children can explore their emotions, recognize their strengths, and develop coping skills in ways that feel natural and meaningful.
Parents and caregivers are also part of the therapeutic process when appropriate, helping support children's growth and reinforce skills between sessions.
